With our favorite show’s climatic Season 2 finale last night on AMC we realize that us Into the Badlands fans will be going through some serious withdrawal. Season Two’s final episode did give us a lot to think about and since we know the show has been renewed for a expanded third season some of our inquiries will be answered. In the meantime how can we extend our love for the Badlands a little longer? Here are 5 creative ways to keep your love affair with Into the Badlands going ( please feel free to share more).


5. Watch Season 1′s fight scenes- Season 1 introduced us to Clippers, Cogs, Barons, Nomads and Abbots who had incredible martial arts prowess. AMC got smart and released a compilation of the fights from Season 1 and we think that’s a great way to kickstart our Badlands fix.



4. Read articles about Into the Badlands- Good thing that Badlands is popular right now as there are many articles that deal with many aspects of Into the Badlands. From Kung Fu Magazine, Nerds of Color to Variety there are articles, interviews, etc on this great show. Check some out and do the obligatory Google search to find many more!


3. Get into some martial arts training- You can’t tell me that watching the fight scenes in Into the Badlands didn’t have you jumping into your stance and throwing a kick or two ( I did)! Seek out a cardio kickboxing, Muay Thai, Wu Shu , Capoeira, Karate, Kung Fu or Krav Maga class to keep in shape and start yourself to becoming a bad ass clipper like Sunny. The one good thing about the fights in Badlands is that they were character driven. It also showed how different styles can fit different body types (The Widow uses her flexibility, Bajie his strength while Sunny was more well-rounded). Use this an excuse to try that BJJ class you’ve always wanted too!
